The fuselage of the projector is white and treated with a matte finish, and the grain improves the texture, while at the same time greatly improving the scratching ability of the surface of the product.
For the front side of the most attractive is undoubtedly a multi-layer all-glass optical lens. The lens is deeply embedded in the fuselage, compared with the previous-generation TK800 model, and the BenQ TK800M already does without a lens cap.

On the basis of providing superior light transmission characteristics, the multi-layered all-glass lens also functions to stabilize the image and reduce chromatic aberration, which is the main guarantee of an excellent projection effect.
The component located near the lens is an infrared remote control receiver. In comparison, the 4K mark on top is more attractive. The BenQ TK800M uses a 0.47-inch DMD chip with a native resolution of 1920 * 1080. Based on this, using the pixel-shift technique, the micro-mirror moves clockwise with a high frequency of 240 Hz, eventually reaching a 4K resolution. Maybe you can tell how a native 1080P chip can be called a 4K projection? But the fact is that BenQ TK800M provides real 8.3 million pixels, that is, the resolution is 3840 * 2160, through its own 1080P chip, with the support of pixel enhancement technology. The 4K resolution does not depend on the chip’s own resolution but depends on the final actual resolution. Although the built-in 4K chip will better display, the 0.47-inch DMD chip is undoubtedly one of the best cost-effective options for home 4K projection.

The zoom ring and focus ring have a good sense of damping, and there is no loose feeling at all, ensuring precise adjustment.
In the button area, I found the first slot of the BenQ TK800M, that is, the gap around the button is not well controlled, although it does not affect the use of the product.

A large area of heat dissipation holes are provided on both sides of the fuselage, and the left side is an active air intake. Through the vents, you can see a large fan and a 5W speaker next to the fan.
